Mazars and ABIS are launching a Middle Market Leaders Lab, a thought leadership and action-orientated approach to help middle-sized companies achieve their full potential in a manner that promotes sustainably successful and responsible businesses.

Our panel will discuss the challenges that exist at both a macro and micro level in promoting the success of middle market businesses in Europe in a modern technological and ever more global economy.

It will explore the factors leading to middle market businesses potentially becoming squeezed between powerful global corporates and small low cost start-ups and the economic and social risks associated at a national and European level with not having a vibrant middle market sector.

Recognising that middle market businesses take many forms, including family businesses, owner managed and smaller listed companies, the roundtable will then consider the range of critical issues that middle market businesses need to address if they are to achieve their full potential and the different challenges posed by alternative ownership structures.
