WHO WE ARE
The European Business Summit is a renowned organisation that creates and supports networking and debating events in Brussels, including its biggest and most prestigious event - the annual European Business Summit. Our main goal is to bring business and politics together and to stimulate thinking on the most challenging European issues. Through its events and publications, EBS delivers an inspired and informed contribution to policy-making in Europe. EBS is supported by the FEB (Federation of Enterprises in Belgium) and BUSINESSEUROPE, and is proud to acknowledge the high patronage of His Majesty the King of the Belgians.

OUR MISSION
Our mission is twofold. First, we aim to bring politics and business together to provide them with an opportunity to debate and pursue their common goals, by giving a voice to both sides. Second, we aim to provide the European institutions with a platform to highlight their top priorities and accelerate the development of new pieces of legislation through discussions with a variety of European actors and stakeholders. -
EBS ANNUAL SUMMIT
The annual European Business Summit is one of the most far-reaching and influential debating and networking platforms in Europe, held annually at the Egmont Palace, Brussels. This event attracts over 2,000 participants and 250 high-level speakers. The European Business Summit gives business representatives the opportunity to engage in a dialogue with key EU decision-makers and to demonstrate that business can play a key role in the development of solutions to the most pressing issues in Europe. -
2020: A SPECIAL YEAR
Due to the COVID19 situation, EBS 2020 took place online. With the simultaneous onset of the new EU Commission and the new members of the European Parliament, EBS 2020 offered all participants the opportunity to reach out new policymakers and discuss the key issues facing Europe through the online matchmaking tool.
The overarching theme for EBS 2020 is sustainability. Through its sessions, EBS 2020 highlighted a new approach to business with a focus on sustainable transformation and the impact that companies have on both society and the environment.
